America the Great

To really appreciate the Statue of Liberty you have to behold her through the tear filled eyes of immigrants coming in on one-way tickets. All their belongings contained in a few cardboard suitcases. Looking up at this kindly angel, welcoming them to the land of their dreams, you have to see her from the point of view of veterans returning from foreign wars, while many a comrade lie buried far from home. Entrance into the kingdom of God is like this but on the highest possible level. A journey to freedom from an old way of life, freedom from bondage to sin, pledging allegiance to a new homeland, accepting concomitant duties, privileges, and responsibilities. Father, grant us entrance into your kingdom and the grace to remain there. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Medjugorje, November 1997-Pilgrimage taken to thank the Blessed Mother for my personal rescue by her hands through fasting and praying the daily Rosary.   July 25, 1998-Mary’s Message “Dear children! Today, little children, I invite you, through prayer, to be with Jesus, so that through a personal experience of prayer you may be able to discover the beauty of God’s creatures. You cannot speak or witness about prayer, if you do not pray. That is why, little children, in the silence of the heart, remain with Jesus, so that He may change and transform you with His love. This, little children, is a time of grace for you. Make good use of it for your personal conversion, because when you have God, you have everything. Thank you for having responded to my call.” -Queen of Peace
